与自己依恋的事物分离可能是痛苦的，即使离开是为了让自己变好。这是由于我们的习惯对我们有潜意识的力量，但这也是良好进化所需要的。通过练习，你可以养成习惯，从而期待那些能让你进步的变化，你会着迷于快速成长的习惯。所以，不妨试试养成快速失败和快速进步的习惯。一旦你习惯了，你会发现这很刺激又很有效。

Separations from the things we are attached to, even when they’re separations to move on to better things, can be painful because of the subliminal power that our habits have over us. But that is what evolving well requires. With practice, you can develop the habit so that you will look forward to the changes that improve you as you will become hooked on the habit of evolving fast. So try to develop the habit of failing fast and improving fast. Once you get used to it, you will find it thrilling as well as productive.

老师，请问书中提到的第二本原则大概要多久出版呢

Probably another 18 months or so.  In the mean time I probably will put out another book showing my research on why countries rise and fall.  I’m eager to get it out because it’s very relevant to our current  circumstances.

瑞达利欧先生你好，最近在拜读您的巨著“债务危机”，深有启发，在读到通缩性债务周期中萧条时段的政策时，您提到去杠杆化过程中最终决策者会大规模担保、印钞和债务货币化，请问如果通过抛售美债来购买黄金，通过金本位印钞会不会是一个更好的选择？小生愚钝，还望前辈予以解惑。

回答

长远来说，或者就目前来看，这种做法对个人会比较好。而对于正在处理债务过多问题的政策制定者来说，发行货币，实现债务货币化，是更容易的出路。因此，当这么做符合他们的利益时，购买黄金也就符合你的利益。

In the long run, perhaps right now, it will be better for the individual. For policy makers who are dealing with the problems of there being too much debt, printing the money to monetize the debt is the easier way out. So, when it’s in their interest to do that it’s in your interest to buy gold.

翻译不准确吧？找工作很大一部分是信息传播的问题，需要中间人。得到工作是能力匹配的事情，是公司与应聘者的事。

如果想保持创意择优，那应该完全基于人们本身价值进行选拔，偏向朋友与机制所期望的行为是不一致的。

If one is trying to maintain an idea-meritocracy one wants to have people chosen entirely on the basis of merit so favoring people who are friends is inconsistent with desire behavior.

我曾经处于2成开放8成封闭状态，后来开始慢慢理解他人的想法，但在现实中，大多数人，自己的开放态度反倒会引起很多封闭人事的反感，似乎存在不同观点这件事就是对他们的冒犯

不是所有人都抗拒不同的意见，最成功的人常常会对为什么其他人会有不同意见保持好奇的态度，并进行深究来保证自己所持的观点不是错的，大多数成功人士会判定人们的可信度，并尝试去理解那些最具可信度的人的想法，尤其是当他们与自己持不同意见的时候。

Not all people are offended by differing opinions. The most successful ones become curious as to why someone had a different opinion and go through a process to make sure that their opinion isn’t the wrong one. What most successful people do is judge people’s believabilities and seek to understand the thinking of the most believable people especially those who disagree.
