It means be humble. When you don’t have any experience realize that you are theorizing so you can have your opinion but you need to realistic about its likelihood of being right and open-mindedly stress test it. But go for it! Be imaginary and see! And those who have inexperienced people working for them should welcome that imaginary exploration.

I believe that in a student teacher relationship, one should recognize that the teacher is probably mostly likely to be right so it is more practical for the student to seek out teacher’s understanding than for the teacher to seek all the reasons that the student has.

To get objectively reviewed, have other believable parties review you. Notice your own reactions to critical feedback to see if you welcome it or if it bothers you. Notice what you do with it to see if you seek to make changes or don’t.

曾经有人觉得我不应该一个人拿定所有的主意，而要多倾听别人的建议。到最后发现不是应该多倾听别人的建议，不要多去问别人。将他们的想法融入到我的思考格局中，反而导致了错误的估计，以至于对最近的一些局势的错误判断。而是应该增加自己的沟通能力，让别人更舒服的接受我的理解。

虽然你的沟通技巧可能会妨碍你很好地表达自己的观点，但避免无理由地执着于自己的观点却对你有益。问问你自己，别人会觉得谁才最可能是对的。

While your communication skills can stand in the way of you presenting your arguments well, you would be well-served to not be unjustifiably attached to your own views. Ask yourself who others would say would be most likely to be right.
